We welcome you to the 4th Annual Twelve Hours of Port Jervis!!
StarCrawf Promotions is very excited to present The 12 Hours of Port Jervis. This discipline of MTB Racing/Riding holds a close place in our hearts, to say the least. This event combines top level riding mixed in with a festive/party vibe that all can enjoy. This is a TEAM RELAY or a SOLO rider event (one rider per team on course at a time), so whether you are trying to stand on top of the podium, meet a personal challenge or enjoy chilling out with your best friends while doing some Hot Laps, This Celebration of Bikes, Friends, Music and Trails is there for you!
The Event/Course will be held within The WaterShed Trail of Port Jervis, NY. The transition area, vendor area, camping and staging will all take place in the Elks Brox area of the park. You will be presented with some world-class singletrack, a bit of doubletrack and a touch of old woods road to create your new favorite race course. The race will take place from 8am to 8pm on May 3rd 2025. The venue will be reserved for participants during May 2th-5th. This event is more than just a race. It's a weekend-long celebration of Mountain Biking, Music and just having an all around GREAT Time. Therefore, camping on Friday night and especially on Saturday night is encouraged. Teams are welcome to set up in the Elks Brox Campground and Solo racer will have their own area (Solo Alley). If you are coming to spectate and not camp, we ask you to park on the righthand side roadway leading to the campground. Make sure you leave room for emergency vehicles to pass!
General Rules
Camping
Is first come, first served. A $10 cash donation per vehicle entering the venue, goes to our Non-Profit partners. If you are spectating only and camping, we suggest a $30 donation for the weekend .
REFUNDS/CREDITS
No refunds will be issued in case that the event must be cancelled due to uncontrollable circumstances including, but not limited to Mother Nature, Restrictions set forth by the State of New York. The promoter reserves the right to make accommodations as it may deem fair or equitable in the event of an unexpected event cancellation.
Transition Area / Tent
Each racer (including soloists) must WALK through the transition tent and log in and log out at the check-in station located at the start/finish area (exchange tent). The registrar will then record the login time before that rider can begin his/her lap. The logout time is the login time for the next rider regardless of whether or not that rider is present in the exchange tent. If the rider is to continue on for another lap he or she must still check in with the registrar prior to beginning the next lap. If a rider fails to do this, only one lap will be recorded. If a team cancels a rider’s lap and is starting the lap over with a new rider, there will be no penalty. However, the team’s rider must check in with the registrar. The login time recorded for the rider failing to complete the lap will be used as the login time for the new rider. Teams should be sure that each rider is logging in and out correctly.
A rider who has entered the course must complete his or her lap. Rider substitutions can only be made at the check-in station.
Wait List
There is only a LIMITED amount of teams/riders allowed!!!! If a category fills up, there will be a waitlist available. If other categories are not full, spaces from that un filled category will be given to the waitlist categories. 5 days before the next late fee is applied, empty category spaces will be filled by the waitlist.
PRIZES
SOLO categories will have cash prizes based on the number of entrants in that Category. If the solo category fills up to at least 25, that will equal a first place pay out of $1000!!! Each category must have at least 10 Racers/Teams in the category to qualify for minimal Prizes and Payout.
The Industry Category will be battling it out for bragging rights and the coveted Industry Cup Trophy.
